We’re excited to welcome you to the Community Wellness Fair — a mindful gathering to celebrate wellness, connection, and community. Held in the peaceful Los Jobos of Tamarindo at Hari OM Yoga Ashram, this three-day event is an invitation to come together in the spirit of healing, joy, and holistic living.
Our aim is to make this a Quarterly event, supporting our beautiful and growing mindfulness and wellness community in Guanacaste, Costa Rica.
Our fair will feature a beautiful variety of offerings including yoga, meditation, talks, healing sessions, conscious movement, handmade goods, and more — presented by both our organizers and an inspiring lineup of local wellness providers and vendors. Whether you’re a long-time practitioner or simply curious, there’s something here for everyone.

Matea Zajec
Matea Zajec began her yoga journey at a young age, practicing bhakti-yoga, meditation, and asana. After several years as a yoga teacher, she founded Hari OM Yoga & Wellness, aiming to offer the beautiful teachings of yoga to the world. Matea holds a certification in Vinyasa yoga, Anusara, and Hatha Yoga, she's an Aerial yoga instructor, Tibetan singing bowl sound healer, meditation teacher, Ayurveda practitioner, and Reiki master.
Matea's passion is yoga and wellbeing, and over the years she has created wonderful events, trainings, and retreats in spectacular locations for everyone to enjoy.
Co-Founder of Yoga Ashram Costa Rica
Acyuta
Acyuta is an accomplished meditation and asana expert with over two decades of experience in the realms of yoga philosophy and asana practice. Beyond his spiritual pursuits, Acyuta is a skilled software engineer and marketing specialist, holding a RYT-200 yoga teacher certification. He teaches kriyas and breathwork, drawing insights from programs led by Sadhguru and Wim Hof. Since relocating to Costa Rica, Acyuta has co-founded the Hari OM School of Yoga and Ayurveda. Alongside his partner, Matea, he is also instrumental in developing the Yoga Ashram Costa Rica, creating a sanctuary that merges traditional yogic practices with modern living.
Founder of Joyful Vida Retreats
Jennette Silao
Jennette first discovered the beauty and culture of Costa Rica during a college volunteer program in the rural town of Medio Queso, where she lived with a host family and gained valuable insights into community health. This experience became the foundation of her lifelong commitment to improving health and wellness. With a Master of Public Health and an MBA, Jennette has worked in women and children’s health, coordinated large-scale events, and consulted on strategic planning and evaluation.In 2023, she reunited with her host family in Costa Rica, inspiring her to launch Joyful Vida Wellness & Retreats. Jennette is now a certified yoga instructor, sound healer, and Reiki practitioner, trained at Hari Om Yoga and Wellness in Tamarindo.
