Can Ayurveda help me find mental health and balance?

    The answer is - a resounding YES!

    According to Ayurveda, we have five main bodies or layers (koshas), namely physical, mental, emotional, energy and spiritual. In order to be healthy and balanced, all five bodies need to be addressed and in harmony. 

    Our mental health is incredibly important and can have a direct influence on our physical health. Ayurveda teaches that in order to heal a particular health issue, imbalance, or disease, we need to find its root cause. In many instances, the root cause is in fact on the subtle, mental health level.

Meet Matea

Matea is an E-RYT-500 Yoga teacher, Ayurveda practitioner, Jyotish Vedic astrology counselor, and Reiki Master. She loves teaching yoga and Ayurveda trainings and retreats in beautiful locations around the world, and now - online! 

Growing up with a mom who’s an Ayurvedic and energy therapist, Matea was introduced to yoga, meditation, and Ayurveda at an early age.

Matea suffered from various health issues in her childhood, many related to food allergies and intolerances. After Ayurveda helped her heal, she developed passion for nutrition and using food as medicine.
